Back to School Skirt

I can't believe it is back to school time! Which means, Fall, Boots, Soup, Colorful leaves, Canning, Pumpkins, and Football are just around the corner! I also can't believe this one is going to school this year!

I have had this little skirt on the brain for a very long time, and I am so glad I finally got around to making it! This purple cord was purchased last year for another project, and I just never got around to it. I am glad because it is PERFECT for this little suspender skirt!

I am Lovin' the way the suspenders are criss-crossed. It also keeps them on her shoulders.
I used a combination of directions and tutorials to make this. Go HERE or HERE to see them.

These wood buttons are also from my grandmothers collection. Thanks for collecting buttons grandma.

Happy back to school Miss Addie!

This is Kira...your blog is super cute. I am all ideas when it comes to crafting my own clothes, but I have none of the skill to back it. Seeing all your cute stuff re-inspires me to learn the sewing trade.
